Professors from universities in Indonesia and Thailand visit the UPO as part of the MASUDEM project.

English translation: To learn about the initiatives to promote the SDGs that are taking place on the campus of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. In recent weeks, the Universidad Pablo de Olavide has hosted the visit of professors from Naresuan University (NU) in Thailand, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Indonesia, as part of the European Erasmus+ MASUDEM (Master in Sustainable Development and Management) project. MASUDEM is an EU-funded project to promote sustainability through higher education and job creation in Indonesia and Thailand, led by the University of Economics in Bratislava and coordinated at Pablo de Olavide University by Professor Michaela Bednárová from the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting. 
During the visit, which was also attended by UPO professors Araceli Casasola, Emma Berenguer, Vanessa Díaz, Vicente Pérez, and Raúl Sánchez. Professors Kullapa Soratana and Vatcharapol Sukhotu from NU Thailand; Jaya Addin Linando and Anjar Priyono from UII and Sari Sitalaksmi from UGM Indonesia were able to gain insight into various aspects of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. María Jesús Ruiz presented an overview of International Relations and Cooperation, while Lola Arenas and Myriam Berraquero provided insights into Postgraduate Studies. Professor Gassan Hodaifa discussed Laboratories and Experimental Work, while Óscar Acedo presented an analysis of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the UPO. Finally, Rocío Fernández and Ángel Delgado provided an overview of the Library-CRAI. They also attended training sessions on different methodological approaches and had discussions with Professors Michaela Bednárová, Emma Berenguer, and Raúl Sánchez. They were also received by Dean Francisco J. Tato at the College of Economists of Seville. This academic exchange and international collaboration strengthen Pablo de Olavide University’s commitment to sustainability and academic excellence, promoting sustainable development and intercultural relations in a globalised world.
